Naperville Senior Photographer, Burr Ridge Photographer

This senior started our day in studio getting her hair and makeup done with my team.  The weather was decently warm and perfect.  By the time we left the studio to head to our location, it was completely grey.  That’s okay, it was still decent outside, and I don’t mind grey skies.  I brought along my strobe light to use.  I wasn’t worried.  We were going to do some family pictures at the end of our senior session.  So, now flash forward to arriving at the location – now the sky is actually pretty dark.  I’m getting a little concerned.  This Sugar Grove senior was a great sport.  She just finished her cross country season and is about to begin her competitive cheer leading season.  I haven’t had a chance to do her athlete pictures, yet, but we plan on adding those, as well.  By bringing along my light, I was able to compensate for the dark day.

 

 

I also have no problem changing the skies later in processing if we want.

 

 

Then she changed outfits into something more casual.  I love this one.

 

I had fun doing something different with this one.  Kind of comic book editing.  You can see how dark the skies were getting by this point.

 

Now we were getting rushed because it looks like the skies are going to open up at any moment and this family has to get on the road, as the dad was having a promotion to General in the National Guard the next day, and they had to drive all the way to Kansas as soon as we were done.    I had a great time meeting this awesome family and look forward to doing the senior’s cheer leading pictures soon.
