I have been photographing this lovely family for a few years now, and I always have a great time with them, but this may have been the best time, yet!  The boys had an absolute blast playing with the leaves and being boys.  This session took place three weeks ago on an oddly warm November day, bright and sunny.  We really lucked out with a great November for weather.  On the day I write this post, it is late November with snow on the ground.  I guess those gorgeous fall days are officially behind us.

We started with some fun and a leaf fight.  It was a great way to start the session and had the boys ready to do as I said afterwards.  And really, I would love a picture like this of my family truly playing together.

 

Look at those gorgeous eyes on this little brother.

 

Then we went to the shade of some buildings for some pictures.  Such a handsome kid.

 

 

I totally love this picture of the two brothers with natural, real smiles.  How many years do we have before they hate putting their arms around each other?  Maybe it will always be this way…we can hope.

 

This venue offers so much variety for family pictures.  I love the vests with the outfits.  This is what family portraits is all about – capturing the love between everyone.

 

The boys had funny monkeying around with me.

 

This included climbing walls, though his little brother was too scared for this part.
