When I met this family last year and photographed them, this little girl was a bit shy, though happy.  This year, at four years old, she is ALL personality and spunk.  There was zero shyness.  LOL  She was totally hilarious and loved running around and having a great time on our day together.  It was a sunny but windy day, but that is okay.  It wasn’t terrible.  And I love how mom dresses her – great outfits for photo shoots.   We started in the taller grasses,.  Sunlight hit her hair just beautifully.  She looks like a model here.

 

Her mom brought some sunflowers to use.  I love her total sassy stance here.  You know she is going to be trouble in another couple of years. 😉

 

I think she was busy using a flower as a sword here.  Hence the laughter.

 

 

Okay, this wasn’t posed at all, but it is one of my favorites from the session.  Check out that dimple! Not to mention the awesome hair bow.

 

Of course we got some family pictures, too.  She was not up for sitting still, so we didn’t bother trying.

 

Such a cool little girl.

 

And this last one is my definite favorite.  Again, she did all the posing on her own.  I don’t think I would have thought of her laying her head on her mom, but now that I’ve seen this image, you can bet I’ll try redoing it again, as I absolutely love it.  I’ve told the mother that this needs to be a big canvas somewhere in their house.  It’s too good not to be big.
