I’ve been drowning in fall family sessions, so it was a delight to have a break and do a newborn session for this lovely family.  I had the pleasure of photographing her maternity session (gorgeous, by the way), and now I got to meet their baby daughter.  She was two weeks old to the day when they came to the studio for their session.  She was simply beautiful and wonderful.  Unfortunately, mom wasn’t feeling great after having complications.  At least she got to spend most of the time just resting on my couch.  I hope she is back to full health now.

Every day, newborns change.  As a parent, you won’t really realize it until you look back on pictures.   That is why it is so important to have your newborn session as early as possible.  Every day, there are changes, and before you know it, they will no longer be newborns, but simply infants.

We got some great variety during our session.  I love the simplicity of all ivory.  And look at those cheeks!
