Families are made of those we love. For many of us, that includes our furry family members, or fur babies. This woman contacted me to photograph her two dogs. While doing a studio session would have created a formal look, she wanted to do something outside. She had a new three and a half month old Golden Retriever along with her old Cocker Spaniel, Russell. The two were about the same size at this point. LOL Russell just hung out and was easy to work with, though he didn’t necessarily want to stay anywhere away from his mom. Little Brinkley mostly just wanted to eat the grass. 🙂 He’s all puppy, but being a Golden, he wasn’t overly hyper really – thank goodness! He had a blast tromping through the tall grasses. I’m sure they both fell quickly asleep on the way home after their adventure with me.
The sun kept peeking in and out of the clouds on this day, which created some beautiful rim lighting in the darker grasses.
This one cracks me up – everyone is smiling so much here, especially the puppy.
I love this picture of Brinkley.
Russell just quietly smiled at me the whole time.
The lighting was so weak that I was actually able to get the real sky in the images without PhotoShop. I love this one with the barn in the background.
What a sweet smile this little guy has – though he won’t be little for long!
One more family picture. 🙂
