Time for some more commercial work. This blog post is a mix of work I did for a toy company as well as some professional headshots. For my toy companies, there are two, and they have different looks and requirements. One likes a natural look where things aren’t as staged, and the editing is minimal. The other likes lots of white space in order to add text later, and they like children looking at the camera. Some toys were used for both companies. Having children model with toys is usually pretty easy, as most kids are happy to just play.
This little guy didn’t necessarily want to play with the stuffed fox. He more just wanted to throw it. LOL But how gorgeous is he?!
Then we had a baby girl playing with a teddy bear. Well, we tried to have a baby play with a teddy bear. She wanted nothing to do with it. LOL The joys of commercial work. In order to try to get her interested, her momma tried playing. I took this and ended up really liking it. You can see the difference between the two companies in these two pictures – one is interactive, the other is the baby more staged.
And last were the most amazing knight costumes I’ve ever seen. Seriously, these are soooo high quality. And these boys had a blast playing. I was told that neither boy was looking forward to it, but once they put everything on and got to hold the weapons, they forgot about being “models” and just played. These costumes are seriously awesome. The boys wanted them, my kids wanted them. I don’t blame them. I sort of want them! And if you are interested in them, you can find these toys at Bella Luna.
And then we have some professional headshots, of a sort. She works for a skin care company and they have created a new part of their site and have to have full body shots on all white. I personally am never a fan of bright white backgrounds, but I do what is needed to fit with a company’s requirements.
