Naperville Senior Photographer, Chicago Senior Photographer

This 2015 Naperville North High School senior was really something fun and different.  I always ask seniors to text or email me pictures of possible outfits, so we can get ideas.  She sent me a picture of her in this red dress, and I immediately wanted to do the first image.  Then she asked if we could incorporate her singing into the session.  You see, she is a show choir, musicals, etc person.  In fact, she will be attending University of Wisconsin this fall to major in music education.  As soon as she mentioned singing, I immediately had these other images in mind using this old timey microphone that I borrowed from a friend – thanks, Jan!    Now, had she simply shown me the dress on the hanger, I would not have been as inspired.  But on, man, she was quite the bombshell!  She used my hair and makeup team to help create her retro look.  We knew she would be putting on something more casual later, and all we had to do was take off the red lipstick and put on a lighter color.  We also tousled her hair to loosen it up and make it more casual.

I’m in love with the dramatic lighting in this first image.  I’ve been wanting to photograph someone under a street lamp for a while.  Glad I was able to do it with her!

 

 

Future mega star?  Maybe!

 

Then it was time for another side of her personality.

 

This may very well be my favorite one.  I LOVE it!

 

Then we changed clothes again, as well as location.

 

The flowering trees were in full bloom at this time, so we lucked out with this beautiful tree.
