Naperville Photographer, Downers Grove Photographer | Two

I love taking toddlers to this location, as there are lots of areas and setting to keep a little one’s attention content and on the go.  And while this is a popular venue, it is large enough to not worry about other photographers…usually.  On this day, it was prom for some local high school, and it seemed that the entire school was there taking pictures.  Literally, there was over a hundred teens dressed to the nines.  It was insane!  At least they were all leaving as we were starting out.  I’ve seriously never seen the place so packed.  And from these pictures, you can see why – flowers were in bloom, the grounds gorgeous, the weather perfect.

We’ve had a late spring, but on this day, the flowering trees were in full bloom.  Our little star is about to turn two, and it took a lot of finagling to get her to go where we wanted.  LOL  At the end, the bell tower rang, and all she would do is repeat, “Where’s bell?  I don’t know!”  over and over again and look around for it.  It was very cute.  She definitely enjoyed our outing, getting to explore the flowers and trees and steps and everything else.

 

 

 

 

 

Then we had an outfit change.  Apparently, they had tried this dress on her the previous day, and she HATED it.  Thankfully, she was fully distracted when we changed her this time, and she barely noticed.

 

 

I love this one of her “listening” to the flowers. LOL
