Naperville Family Photographer, Hinsdale Photographer

With this crazy spring weather, we were trying to outrun the impending rain.  The weather was certainly dark, but we rushed through our family photography session and ended up having a great one!  Of course, with such a handsome family, how could we not get great shots?  Photographing teenage boys is totally different than photographing anyone else.  I’m not sure what the magic number is – maybe around ten or twelve – but most boys flip a switch as they grow out of childhood and are not big fans of having their pictures taken.  While I know these two teens were not thrilled, they were great sports with me and did exactly as I asked.  I felt so bad for the older brother, as his seasonal allergies were really bothering him and his eyes. I made sure to remove the redness in his eyes.

I love this wooded setting – to me, it is more masculine than fields.  And I love the architecture found here. So while it was dark, I’m still loving these images of this family.  Can you believe mom tells me she always hates herself in pictures?  Seriously?!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love this one.  Normally, I am not a huge black and white person, but a lot of these images look great with the conversion.

 

 

 

Tell me these boys aren’t heartthrobs! I hope I get to photograph them again for senior pictures when the time comes.  At this point in the session, it was actually sprinkling.  By the time we got back to the cars and headed out, it started actually raining.  I don’t know that this session would have benefited at all from nicer weather.  I’m just glad we got it in!
