For some reason, my last few posts were lost due to a backup malfunction. So now I have to rewrite and post this session.  Wish I could just remember and have it all done. Alas, let’s see if I can remember…

I love it when I see families grow!  I hadn’t seen this particular family for about two and a half years, not since their first son’s newborn session.  Now he is a big brother!  And now I got to photographer another ginger boy for this awesome family.  Big brother was as perfect as he could be for being an energetic toddler.  Jelly beans were a great incentive. 😉  We always do family pictures first so that older siblings can be freed to go play quickly.  Seriously, could his smile be any bigger?

 

 

After more family pictures, it was time for me to get down with little Mr. Oliver at only seven days old.  He is simply a gorgeous baby, isn’t he?  Though he did much prefer his momma’s arms to mine (sniff, sniff).  LOL

 

I absolutely love this one with the heart on his little tush and positioned just perfectly.

 

 

 

Everyone has their own personal aesthetic of what they like, but for me, personally, I really love the below image whenever I do it.  I love the neutral colors of the floor, the worn appearance, and the timelessness of it, the texture of the bird’s nest.  Really everything.

 

And who can refuse the sweet cheeks when being held like this?  Also really loving my new hat that he wore here.

 

When I did big brother’s newborn session, we did some pictures on a beautiful orange blanket which went great with his skin and hair. We didn’t want to duplicate the pictures since these boys look so much alike, so we chose this sunny yellow color, instead, so they still “go” with each other.  I love this yellow.
