It is hard to believe that a year has gone by since I first met Avery and her moms.  I still totally remember putting her tiny newborn body into her mom’s hockey helmet with knit little skates to the side.  🙂  And now, little Miss Avery is one year old!  She loved holding onto baby bear at the studio and checking things out, playing “drums” on the ottoman, and just generally playing.  She was in a good mood on this day.  Yay!  Definitely makes my job easier when kids are in a good mood. 😉  After newborn sessions, these baby sessions seem so quick in comparison. But we have to be quick because the window of happiness for these babies is small before they get too tired.  Then it is all rubbing eyes and fussing.

I love the bright colors of this backdrop coupled with her clothing.  Her cheekiness really shines through!

 

 

Then it was time for some pictures on the bed.  She immediately laid her head down and pretended to sleep.

 

But she didn’t stay down for long!  Almost all babies tend to be happy and playful on the bed because it is reminiscent of being at home.

 

I asked her to grab her toes, and boy, she was all over that. LOL

 

At one, she is at the cusp of baby turning into a toddler.  I love to take these last “baby” pictures of them because they still are babies.
