Naperville Family Photographer, Hinsdale Photographer | Extended Family

The next time you have a family get together, and all the cousins are in town, you should consider scheduling an extended family portrait session with Firefly Nights Photography.  Capturing the moments with grandparents and their grandchildren is important, but it is also important to have family pictures done when the children are adults, themselves.  Some day, the grandchildren will be grown, and they will want to show their own grandchildren pictures of their relatives.  Don’t underestimate the important of family.

This handsome family were all in town, and we had great weather for our session.  In order to make it convenient for everyone, we held our session in downtown Naperville, so they could go out to eat  afterwards.  For extended family sessions with multiple generations, I always try to photograph all the variations – grandparents and grandkids, whole family, individual families, cousins, siblings, etc.  Below is just a portion of our session and this handsome family.

One funny note – the baby was not happy during our session.  She pretty much cried most of the time, but any time I got close and would sing to her, she would immediately stop crying.  Stop singing, take picture, back to crying.  Then more singing, and she’d stop again.  LOL
