When I had my senior meeting with Tim, I didn’t know what to expect.  I knew he was a football player at Nequa Valley High School, so I had an image in my mind.  Boy, was I wrong!  This 2015 senior is one of the most unique people I’ve ever met.  I think he is going to be someone whose name everyone will know in the future.  Yes, he is a baseball and football player, but when asked about his personality and goals – he is Mr. Boardroom Businessman.  That’s not the usual for senior boys who may or may not have an inkling as to what they want to do in their future.  But Tim has already started his own company – Top Tier Learning!  He and a friend created a company that gathered all of the bests tutors for academics, as well athletic training for parents to select the best for their children.  It has been so successful, that two of the local YMCA’s are using it for their own clients.  Like I said, Mr. Business.  He also loves to compete in speeches and other business realms.  So when we met, I was thinking of edgy places, etc, but after our meeting when he said he wanted to wear a suit and tie – well, things changed.  😉

But beyond the boardroom, he is also outdoorsy and loves fishing.  So to contrast the suit and tie, we decided to go outside and go for an opposite look.  His big brother came along for a bit, and I learned something very important.  If I just said his brother’s name, Tim would crack up and give me a great REAL smile.  How funny is that?!
