Mother's Day mini-sessions | Naperville Photographer, Hinsdale Photographer
I did my very first Mother’s Day mini-sessions this year, and we had fabulous weather! And with how our weather has been, I was very grateful and relieved that we got to be outside. Of course, the studio would have been an option, but I wouldn’t have been able to realize my vision, which turned out great! I tied my swing up to a tree (after looking up online how best to tie the appropriate knot), and tested it myself, and then got people to sit on it. I was so nervous it would break or come undone, but nope – we just got amazing pictures, instead. 😉 You can be sure I will be using this again.
Thank you to all the moms who came out to celebrate motherhood. Some were past clients and some new ones, too. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day.
I hadn’t seen this baby girl since her newborn sessions. She looks so different! I loved her smile.
This brave mom drove quite a ways for her session with her adorable twins. And they were awesome!
I photograph this family every year, and every year, her little boy is terribly shy with me. But this year – success!!
I saw these moms at their newborn session. I wouldn’t even know the baby anymore. Such a sweet girl, though she was very tired.
And we also got a three generation picture with grandma, too!
Next up were two sisters, each with babies. I had photographed this baby at her newborn session – not that long ago. I can’t believe how big she is!!
Now her sister has a one week old baby, and gets to celebrate her first Mother’s Day.
Then we got grandma in for a picture with her two daughters and two new grandchildren.
