This little newborn baby girl was 9 days old when I met her in the studio.  We actually met at 7 days old, but the first time we met, she just wasn’t in a good mood, and we couldn’t get her to settle, so we rescheduled.  Normally, newborns are at their best in the mornings and fussier in the afternoons, but this little bub has her timing all off and was cranky in the morning, but sound asleep in the afternoon.  She was a great sport on the second attempt and let us take plenty of pictures.

This first one was perfect – one of her moms is a hockey player and brought in her hockey helmet and some adorable knit skates, which she bought on etsy.  The hat is in her team’s colors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The baby’s expression here cracks me up!  I think she already loves being cuddled up tight, huh?
