Since I do photograph boudoir through my other brand of Fiery Nights Boudoir, it was no problem to do a “sexier” maternity session. My first maternity boudoir session. 😉 Doesn’t she look incredible? I can’t wait to meet her little daughter next month. My hat is also off to her for her self-confidence. Not for baring it all – as that isn’t anything really new – but for telling me NOT to edit out her large scar. I always edit my pictures. People don’t have skin imperfections, bulges etc. And for maternity, I remove all stretch marks, cellulite, etc. When we begin, I usually ask if they have any tattoos or scars that they want removed. She looked at her husband and sort of laughed – “yeah, I have a big scar on my leg, but don’t take it out. It’s me. No one would know that’s really me if it weren’t there.” She had a very large burn scar taking over most of her thigh. I can’t imagine the pain behind that story, but kudos to you, M, for accepting who you are – because you certainly are beautiful.
