Heart Warming | Chicago newborn photographer, Wheaton Naperville newborn photograper

This little guy was 6 days old when I met him.  He was a photographer’s dream for a newborn session – sleepy and easily posed.  We had fun because the parents liked bright colors, so I got to use my new bright blue blanket, which I love.   He was just perfect.  But he is also special in that he is polydactyl with six toes on each foot.  It is a hereditary trait, though neither parent knows of anyone in the family with the trait.  Eventually, the extra toes will be removed, as it will effect his walking, but they wanted to be sure that I get a good picture of his feet as the are now.  Honestly, I wouldn’t have even noticed.  As I said, this newborn boy was perfect,  and that’s all I see.

Congratulations to this new family.

Someone finally chose my cute bow tie! I’d been waiting for someone to choose it.  Doesn’t he look adorable?

My new blue blanket – so bright and colorful, and perfect for a boy or girl.  And while I attempt variations of this pose with most newborns, not all will allow it.  But this guy did it so naturally, definitely my favorite of this pose.
