I had been waiting for this little princess to be born.  Like her older sister, she was late in coming, but definitely worth the wait!  At 6 days of age, she was just a beautiful ball of baby.  And just like her older sister, she was not a sleeper.  She was incredibly alert and wide awake for most of the session, which can be difficult, but she was very calm, which allowed me to get precious awake images without having to swaddle her arms down.

Mom really wanted the dark basket image, so we did wait her out to get her to finally sleep hard enough to put her in the basket.  It helps when moms will feed babies even if they were just fed in order to help conk them out. 😉
