Lucas | Special Needs Photographer, Chicago Autism Photographer

You already saw one of Lucas’ pictures, as his session was through Stories of Autism.  I submitted the first image as my selection for that group, but we had a full session and I finally got around to editing it.  Lucas is only 2.5, but was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) this past winter.  Along with that, he has sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia, apraxia, and speech delays.  What does this mean? Well, he’s a sensory seeker – a kiddo who is constantly on the go.  I was a sweaty mess by the end of the session. LOL.  But he enjoyed his sucker, and he enjoyed playing with my box of band aids.  At the end, we went outside, and I was so happy to get that great big grin.
