One Year | Downers Grove baby photographer, Naperville baby photographer

This dad contacted me, asking if I could basically replicate a large collage that they did with their older daughter now for their youngest daughter.  I do not usually shoot children on solid black backgrounds, so it was outside of my normal style.  This little munchkin was THE EASIEST and happiest one year old I have ever photographed.  She loved the black velour and was content to just sit there and smile at me, blow rasberries, and squeal.  She was so easy, that I was done within 30 minutes, including set up time.  If only they could all be so cooperative!

The final collage will be 9 6×6 prints in a large frame.  He is ordering all black & whites, but I tend to like color, so I edited for both.  Isn’t she a doll?

Oh, I forgot the best part of this story – this is all as a surprise Christmas present for his wife who spends all day with her kids.  How did we accomplish this deception?  She took her older daughter to gymnastics, leaving her husband at home for an hour with their baby.  I was parked down the street, waiting to see her leave, then seriously ran in and got it done.  I was gone before she returned.  What an awesome present for her, and even better that he pulled it all off without her knowing anything!
