Doing extended family sessions can be a lot of work because you are meshing multiple small families together, but with this dapper family, it was perfect.  They wanted my red couch, and when I saw their perfectly planned outfits, I knew this would be a great session.  Blacks and charcoals really look great against the red of the couch, and then with the red accent color, things just popped.  Unfortunately, it was a very grey day, and windy, and cold. LOL  So we ran through this session in super speed.  I called who I wanted for each picture, and in between, everyone huddled in their coats.  But I love the end result.  The bareness of  trees and sky helps the eye focus on the subjects.

This really was a handsome family, and I am so happy they love their images.  When was the last time you had pictures of your own grandparents, parents, cousins, etc?

At the end, they saw this tree and wanted a picture representing the “family tree”.
