I love watching families grow.  I photographed this family last fall during my mini-sessions.  Their older son, Georgie, has autism, and we first met when our sons attended the same school two years ago.  While I have photographed babies who weighed less than Jackson’s mere 6lbs, he seemed like the smallest newborn baby I’ve ever photographed.  He was just little!  At only five days old, he still loved to curl up into a ball, but unlike most newborns, he stayed wide awake for most of the session.  Unfortunately, right when we were going to do a basket shot, he woke again and was done.

I usually don’t get such attentiveness at such a young age.  Little Jackson is already ahead of the curve.  Look at how strong he is!
