Pregnant Pause | Naperville Maternity Photographer, Hinsdale Maternity Photographer

I’ve just branched out to include maternity sessions.  The session fee is only $75 for these sessions, but clients must ALSO purchase a newborn session with me at that time in order to have my maternity session.  I had a vision of the type of images I wanted to produce for studio maternity photography – dramatic, artistic, awesome.  I’m not looking to provide the same old thing that can be seen everywhere.  The set up is similar to my newborn work, but what made me take the leap was my experience with photographing women through my boudoir work at Fiery Nights Boudoir.  I want my maternity pictures to show the beauty of women.  If ever there was a time to believe in magic, pregnancy would be that time.  Creating a life inside you…if that isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is.  My images reflect that sense of magic, of ethereal beauty.

Probably the best part of maternity sessions from a client’s perspective is not having to worry about what to wear.  LOL  The beautiful Jesse here was a great sport, letting me figure out how to wrap the fabrics through trial and error.  I met her last year when I photographed her daughter for the Celebrating Differences calendar.  Looking at these images, it is hard to believe this is her third child.  You look gorgeous, Jesse!  Thank you so much for being my guinea pig, and good luck with baby #3!
