Ryan | Chicago Baby & Childrens Photographer

With all the work I’ve been doing for the Celebrate Differences 2011 calendar sessions, it was about time to actually take pictures of Ryan.  His mom is the one heading this whole thing up with the charity and was looking forward to getting pictures of Ryan and some family pictures.  The original idea was to get some pictures of Ryan playing basketball, but in all honesty, he mostly just wanted to kick the ball and run every which way.  I still managed to get some cute ones of him, though.

Then we went outside, and I was faced with a challenge.  Maybe “backed”‘ with a challenge is a better description.  Mr. Ryan here did NOT want me taking his picture while he played on his V-Tech.  Wherever I went, he just kept turning his back to me.  It was rather funny.  He wasn’t mad or anything, just making it clear who the boss was.  But as I’ve said before about kids, Bring It On!  All it took was the use of my iPhone.  That got him quickly smiling and showing me his drawings, and no more cold shoulder.

And can’t forget the entire gorgeous family!
