Chicago Fitness Photographer, Sexy Cop

Sometimes my job is just really rough. I mean, having to work with a gorgeous half-naked man…geesh! LOL  I’m just playing.  I had the opportunity to do a fitness session for this guy.  He is ex-army and is currently an officer with the Chicago Police Department.  I made sure that he was planning on sharing these with his fellow officers before mentioning that, though I totally wonder if they will give him a hard time for posing in his undies.  I’m personally hoping that after they see these, they ask me to photograph a calendar for them!  Because this lady has big ideas!  Since this was focused on fitness, it was obviously focused on showing off his muscles.  I love photographing bodies.  It allows me to focus on light and posing and storytelling, as opposed to just capturing moments.

For this first one, I told him that muscle that cuts at the hip is a great one to show off.

 

 

Then he added his dog tags and cargo pants and boots.  This one is probably my favorite.  I love creating awesome composites like this.  The only thing is, I need to know before hand in order to do a good job of it.
