Naperville Baby Photographer

The celebration of turning one – the ultimate biggest birthday, surely.  Not that they ever remember it, but still.  There is no other year where a person changes so much.  Being a Naperville baby photographer, I absolutely love meeting babies during their newborn session and then seeing them change so dramatically come their one year session.  This family is such a sweet family with their boys.  I’ve loved watching their older son go from a shy little guy to a total goof ball.  This son seems far more serious.  I look forward to watching his personality grow as he ages, too.

So we started our session with my favorite little boy set up with antique cars and trucks.  His blue eyes really popped with these muted colors.

Such a little man.

Like I said, he had some amazingly blue eyes!  We tried a few pictures with this outfit and set with the cream brick for something lighter and brighter.

Then we had another quick outfit change and setup change.  I love wood and stone and bricks with little boys.  Earthy and masculine.  And how do you get a one year old to stay put?  Get their feet off the ground.  Most little ones tend to be a little worried with heights (though not all, so be careful), and will stay at least for a little while.Elmhurst baby photographer

And once he was off the stool, it also makes a good drum. Unfortunately, he figured out that the lid comes off.  LOL  But look at that mischievous grin.  That is one thing with babies and toddlers – they love to get into things.
